The Bio’Occ Project: Another Step Forward for Biotherapies in Occitanie!

BC2M is a member of the Bio’Occ project (“Biotherapy & Bioproduction in Occitanie: informing, attracting, training, and retaining the talent of tomorrow to anticipate and support innovation”), which was submitted in response to the Call for Expressions of Interest (AMI) on Skills and Professions of the Future (CMA). This strategic project between Toulouse and Montpellier is organized around four thematic areas:

  • Priority Area 1: Adapt existing training programs to better meet needs by strengthening partnerships with industry
  • Priority Area 2: Expand the existing educational offerings to address specific skill needs that are currently underserved by creating new programs
  • Priority Area 3: Develop forecasting tools to better identify changing needs and thus better tailor continuing education programs
  • Priority Area 4: Launch communication initiatives to enhance the appeal of careers in this field and the social acceptance of biotherapies, and better inform companies about available training opportunities.
