The Bio’Occ Project: Another Step Forward for Biotherapies in Occitanie!

BC2M is a member of the Bio’Occ project (“Biotherapy & Bioproduction in Occitanie: informing, attracting, training, and retaining the talent of tomorrow to anticipate and support innovation”), which was submitted in response to the Call for Expressions of Interest (AMI) for Skills and Professions of the Future (CMA). This strategic project between Toulouse and Montpellier is organized around four thematic areas:

  • Priority 1: Adapt existing training programs to better meet needs by strengthening partnerships with industry
  • Priority Area 2: Expand the existing training offerings to address specific skill needs that are currently underserved by developing new programs
  • Priority Area 3: Develop forecasting tools to better identify changing needs and thereby better tailor continuing education programs
  • Priority 4: Launch communication initiatives to enhance the appeal of careers in this field and increase public acceptance of biotherapies, and better inform companies about available training opportunities.
